Milestones

Nov 3 & 4

We are very happy to be back in Shanghai - staying with Peter and Charlotte.  Saturday morning is slow moving, partly because we are exhausted from our week of activities and partly because of Friday night and Johnny Walker wisdom .  

Today is a shopping day - and the shopping is amazing.  Today was a jackpot day at every level.  We meet the boys for snacks and happy hour and eventually head to the Dragonfly Spa. The girls have a manicure and the boys have a massage.  (By now they have the clothes thing figured out) Another first for my boyfriend! (Milestone # 1)

We have Korean food for supper - a virginal experience for both Sid and I. The food is chopped and brought to our table and we BBQ!  The hot coals are inserted into the table

Sunday morning dawns bright and clear.  Happy birthday to my sweet kbt (favorite daughter) and my SSIL (sweet sister in  law) who is celebrating a birthday in Shanghai. (Milestone #2) We have brunch, lunch, & dinner at the Shangri La.

  Last week I said I had experienced the epitome of my lifetime dining pleasure...I was wrong , today was the absolute epitome.  Beautiful - totally beautiful.
